Pets and their owners can be nervous about routine surgeries, such as spaying, neutering, and dental work, so our veterinarians and technicians work to make sure everything your pet experiences will allow them to remain as calm, comfortable, and safe as possible.
As you will see from the technology we use described below, we have equipped our hospital to closely monitor all pets throughout their procedures and recovery. Our calming, compassionate staff tracks patient vital statistics and watches for any signs of discomfort as the pets come out of anesthesia in our recovery rooms.
Maintaining excellent pain management is a high priority at our hospital, and we will train you on how to monitor your pet’s level of comfort as well so that when he or she goes home, you can be assured your pet will continue to heal and recover quickly.

Digital Advanced Veterinary Surgery
When pets are injured or experiencing issues that have to be corrected through surgery, it is vital to have a team of veterinary professionals with experience and training in handling at-risk patients. All Pets Animal Hospital & 24-Hour Emergency Care has such a team. Our veterinarians have experience with many different types of advanced surgeries, some of which include:

- Cruciate ligament repair using the Arthrex Veterinary Tightrope repair system

Our entire hospital has different zones of air disinfection and filtration, allowing our surgical suite to be completely sterile and to exceed AAHA standards.
All of our surgical patients receive the benefit of our trained veterinary technicians, who monitor patients through procedures and post-operative recovery. We also utilize a number of different medical technology devices including:

The benefit of having a board-certified specialist’s input on difficult cases can and has made dramatic and life-saving differences for pets.
When a case presents itself that is exceptionally complex or has multiple complicating factors, we are able to refer to board-certified surgeons or specialists so that your pet will receive the best possible care.
